Scheduled Mentoring

Ongoing support as you build your business and work with your own clients!

• One-on-one support meetings - to help you plan prenatal or postpartum visits with your clients, review paperwork, offer professional feedback, and/or process your clients’ birth experiences

• Individualized education based on your specific needs, such as working with a client scheduling a cesarean birth, planning a home birth, coping with pregnancy complications, etc.

• Support during meetings with your clients - in-person or virtual, to observe and provide feedback about client interactions, and to facilitate communication with more challenging client situations or relationships

• Prenatal and/or postpartum job shadowing, when available - taking you with me to observe meetings with my own clients, followed by debriefing afterwards, to expand and enhance your own client communication skills

Fees:  $100 first session (up to 90 minutes); $50/hour for subsequent sessions. Includes follow-up email and links to other resources, as needed.

On-Call Mentoring

Doula for the doula! My years of birth experience are just a phone call away, when you’re with a client in labor and need encouragement or ideas.

On-call package includes:

• One prenatal meeting - allows me to learn about your client and answer any questions you have as you prepare for the birth

• 24-hour on-call phone/text support during the birth - just text when they go into labor and I will keep my phone near me until baby’s here!

• One postpartum meeting - gives you the pleasure of sharing a birth story, and the opportunity to have any lingering questions answered

Fee:  $250/birth

DONA International Birth Doula Certification Support

Support for doulas working towards certification with DONA International

• Private certification packet review – includes preparatory meeting to go over requirements, review of your completed materials, and a second meeting to go over everything after I’ve reviewed your packet

  Fee: $150

• Materials review only – going over your completed certification packet, with email follow-up

  Fee: $50
